Hi I'm Michael

I grew up in Southern California. I am currently a student at BYU. I will soon be serving a mission.

About Me

I grew up in Southern California. I grew up spending time and having fun with my brothers and sister. I played tennis in high school and love swimming. Right now I am a student at Brigham Young University, I am studying to become an accountant. I love every day I spend at BYU. Not only do I get a fantastic education, but I get to ski frequently with my incredible friends and peers.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of the church because I have come to know it's teachings are true. I have come to know this over time, not all at once. Being away at college, there have been many days when I simply needed to feel loved and at peace. When this would happen, I would turn to my Heavenly Father. I would start with a prayer to Him asking to feel His' love for me. Then I would turn to the Book of Mormon and start to read. Within 5 minutes I could feel His' spirit telling me through the Book of Mormon that I was His' child and He was very aware of me and loves me very much.

How I live my faith

I recently received my mission call. I will be serving a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I have been assigned to serve in the Scotland/Ireland mission and preach the Gospel in the Mandarin Chinese language. I am very excited but also nervous. I know that if I prepare myself and ask God with faith to help me with this righteous struggle, I will be blessed and have the ability to complete anything that He has asked me to do.
