Hi I'm Savanna Skinner

I'm a student and I'm a photographer. I love people and nature. And most importantly, I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a extroverted, fun-loving, outgoing photography major. I love the outdoors; hiking, camping, meditation, the works! I love spending time with family and friends, connecting with people and smiling! I love movies and love all kinds of varieties. I'm only 19 and ready to go on some huge adventures in my life!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church but I don't think that discredits my conversion. Being a member of the Lord's church is so much more than just sitting in a building listening to people talk about their beliefs. It's more than just thinking about changing and meaning to improve yourself. It's more about doing and going forth and ACTING. It's about learning to act for yourself and for other people because you want to, not because you feel you have to. I choose to continue to follow His gospel because I've witnessed first-hand the happiness and peace that it has brought me and the happiness and peace that it has brought other people. The Lord is there to help me and the rest of His children through hard times and through out struggles and trials and He is there to help us overcome temptation and sin. He is there to make us feel whole. I love Him with all my heart. He is my life and my salvation. Without Him, I am nothing and I know this with all of my heart, might, mind and strength.

How I live my faith

Recently I've had the opportunity to serve the youth group, specifically the young women, by going up and going camping with them and participating in activities with them. Having just recently come out of the youth program, being around these wonderful girls as a young adult has been wonderful. I made many new friends and had a really great time serving them and spending time with them. I've also had the privilege of designing the bulletin board for the last year. That's been a joy to be able to design it and use my artistic skills to post announcements and updates on people in our neighborhood.
