Hi I'm Preston

I was born and raised in Mesa, I'm a student, I love motorcycles, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints more than anything else on this planet. I love living in Arizona and I don't think I could live anywhere else! I'm 23 and I have been a member my whole life and I come from a family that is very deep in the church, going back to the prophet Joseph Smith. I am the second oldest of 4 sisters and I love it! Growing up I got alot of "dad" time and I feel rather spoiled for that! I played a lot of baseball growing up until I got to jr. high then I get into wrestling and I stuck with that sport throughout high school. After graduating high school at Mountain View, I served my mission in the El Salvador San Salvador West/Belize mission (now the El Salvador, Santa Ana mission) and it really truely was, as the saying goes, the best two years of my entire life. I will forever be in debt to my Heavenly Father for the time he gave me to serve in El Salvador. There aren't many things in this life that will make me cry, but talking about my mission is one of them, from the very special moments I had, and the incredible people I met and grew very close to. Since being home I worked as an A/C installer and I'm going to Mesa Community College studying nursing. I am also studying and in training to be a financial advisor for Primerica Financial Services which I really love doing. I love the outdoors and doing crazy things and anything active. I also have a passion for music and I love playing the guitar and singing

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know with all my heart that it is true. There is nothing that I know more than that. I have felt the Spirit testify to me that it is and I have seen the changes that the Atonement has made in other peoples' lives. It gives me something to have hope in and something to look forward to. I know that there is more to look forward to than just this life and living for now. We can all live with our Father in Heaven and Savior with our families forever and it does not get much better than that. That is our message and I know it's true. Being a Mormon has kept me safe from the dangers of this world, which are many. There are so many traps that the devil places for us to fall into, and growing up as a Mormon has educated me to say no to many of the worldly things and keep me safe and happy. It has brought me the greatest joy that I have ever experienced in my entire life

How I live my faith

Currently I am a Sunday School teacher in my ward and I love it! The teaching callings in the church are my favorite because I get to express how I feel about things and it gives me a chance to talk infront of groups and bare my testimony to many people at a time. I was the mission prep teacher for a while and that was my favorite calling I have ever had. Home teaching is also part of what I do in the church and I love that as well. I try to live my faith by being a good example to those around me, and being the kind of person that people understand the "Mormons" to be. Most everyone here in the Phoenix valley know some Mormons or atleast know about them and know that they have very high standards and don't do many things that others do, and to have someone say....I knew you were a Mormon....is a great feeling

What do Mormons believe is the purpose of life?

Preston
The purpose of this life is to prepare oursleves to live with God again. We lived with him at one point before we came to this life, and this is the time that we can gain the most experience to live with Him once again Show more Show less
