Hi I'm Dallon

I grew up in Idaho. I am a high school student. I am preparing to become a missionary for the Church. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am 18 years old and about to graduate from high school. I enjoy participating in sports and outdoor activities. I played football for my school for 4 years. I also was on the track and field team. I earned my Eagle Scout Award and learned a lot from my experiences in scouting. I really enjoy hiking, biking, hunting, running, and almost anything else outdoors. After I return from my LDS mission, I plan to go to college and earn a degree and hopefully move on to medical school.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I love Jesus Christ. I am a Mormon because I would be nothing without the teachings of Jesus Christ, which have come from my childhood and teenage experience so far growing up in the gospel. I am a Mormon because of what it helps me to become. I also continue to live Christs gospel as best I can because of the leaders, parents, family, and friends who are amazing examples of discipleship in my life. I see how happy they are and how happy I am when I live it. I know any effort to become more like Christ is worth it in the end.

How I live my faith

Because of my testimony in the gospel of Jesus Christ, I set aside time daily to do a variety of things to live my faith how I know I should. I really enjoy all the opportunities I have to serve those around me through church activities and organizations. Serving helps me show Christ that I love him and want to keep his commandments. I also rely heavily on my personal scriptures to help me with any difficulty I might be facing; because of that I read at least something from them each day. Prayer is the key to finding answers and comfort in my life so I pray at least morning and night. I also look for any available chances to help everyone around me, which could be at school, home, activities, public places or events. I always feel better about myself when I try to do all that I have been taught while growing up in the church. Plus, I know that going out of my own way to live according to my testimony is such a blessing to me and others. Im grateful for all that I have been given in my life from Christ; because of that I can justify working hard to try to become like Him.
