Hi I'm Scott

I love any crazy reason to smile and laugh and I'm Mormon

About Me

I am number six out of eight children and can't imagine being an only child. I love be around people but also love it when I'm alone and can here my self think. I've lived in British Columbia, Utah and Saskatchewan and love each place differently. I graduated from a small K-12 school in 2012 with a class of 13 students. I love being outside and just enjoying the world around me. I love the winter and when it get so cold that you don't want to go outside but you do and all you want to is go back inside. I love curling; I only played on a team for a year but enjoyed every moment and always want to go and play it again. Right now I'm currently serving as missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Tampa Florida.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that the teachings and principles of the the gospel of Jesus Christ taught by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints helps me come closer to God and feel his love everyday. Because I live by the principles of gospel I can feel the influence of God all throughout my day everyday. I have always had a desire to come closer to God and to live as Jesus Christ would; and I know that being a Mormon and living by the principles taught truly does allow me to do so.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by always striving to live up to the standards set up by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I love learning about the teachings of Jesus Christ and trying to apply those teachings to my everyday life. One of the ways that have applied those teaching and have showed my faith in Jesus Christ is by serving Mission in Tampa Florida. I have the privilege to share my great joy in the Gospel of Jesus Christ as well as to serve others in a Christlike manner.

How can I know Mormonism is true?

You can know that Mormonism is true as you sincerely pray to our Heavenly Father in the name of Jesus Christ to know whether or not it is true. God will answer your prayers and let you know through the feelings that you get as you pray and as you act opon those fellings. It may take time to know, but when you act opon those feelings in faith you come to know of the truth. In the book of Ether in the Book of Mormon chapter 12 verse 6 it states "faith is things which are hoped for and not seen; wherefore, dispute not because ye see not, for ye recieve no witness until after the trail of your faith." Just how that scripture says we don't recieve a witness until after a trail of our faith; you won't know until you learn more, expreince the blessing of living the teaching of the gospel by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and of course until you pray unto our loving Heavenly Father sincerely desiring to know.
