Hi I'm Emily

I grew up in Idaho.. When I was 10 years old my family moved to England. I am now a Nurse, a wife and proud to be Mormon

About Me

I am 23 years old, married and am a Registered Nurse. I love life, my husband and my job. I was born in Oregon, grew up in Idaho and moved to England when I was 10 years old. I got through school and college and decided to become a nurse when I was 19. Half way through my studies I met and fell in love with a convert through institute. We were friends for a few months before we started courting and we got married a year later in the Preston England Temple. I like movies and walks. I love nature and animals and am fascinated with space and stars. I like reading and am also very interested in people, culture and religion.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints my whole life. The church goes way back to the restoration from my mother's side and my dad joined the church when he was 15. I have tried to follow the examples they set my whole life and I am very happy that they had high standards and stuck to them always. I am a mormon because I have felt the spirit testify the truthfulness of the gospel to me on many occasions. I am a Mormon not because anyone told me to be or because I rely on anyone else's beliefs. I am a Mormon because I have read and prayed about the Book of Mormon and other principles of the gospel and found them to be all true. I know that when I am living the gospel to its fullest I am the happiest that I can be. I do have a testimony of this gospel of Jesus Christ and know that he has atoned for me and all of us so that we can return to live with our Father in Heaven. I know the prophet Joseph Smith restored the gospel and I know that Thomas S. Monson is truly called of God. I know the Book of Mormon is true and important for us at this time. I am so grateful for the power of the priesthood on the earth today. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

How I live my faith

I love going to church every Sunday. I pray everyday and try to study the scriptures everyday. I enjoy socialising with people especially with those who share the same faith. I love general conference and enjoy listening and reading the words of the Prophet and the Apostles. I try my hardest to be the best person that I can be and try to help others.
