Hi I'm Amber Heizer

I am a convert to the church, i will be a member for 3 years this May 1st. I live in Michigan. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I am 33 years old . i am the oldest of 7 kids. i am on my 3rd marriage. I became a member of the church after meeting my husband. I am just a house wife right now. My hobbies include cross stitch, crocheting, cooking and baking my own creations. I love to dance and sing but sometimes self conscious about doing either in public. I have 2 wonderful children a daughter who is 10, I gave her up for adoption; and a son who is 7, he lives with his dad most of the time. I love to meet new people because i figure every friend i have used to be a stranger. Hubby and i are trying to have more children. we haven't decided how many we just figure however many heavenly father blesses us with is how many we are meant to have. I am very grateful to my husband because if i hadn't met him i wouldn't have ever known about the gospel or how special i truly am! we just celebrated our 3 year anniversary. the first year of marriage was truly the hardest but we made it through and we are closer now then we were in the beginning and we have learned to communicate so much better now!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know in my heart that the book of Mormon is another testament of Jesus Christ. i have seen such a change in myself since i have been baptized the happiness i have felt the self worth i have now. i walked in to the church building and i felt in my heart and soul that i had come home that i was where i was meant to be. Also being a member of the church i have gained an eternal perspective where i know no matter what hardships i go through i know heavenly father is there for me he helps to strengthen me to know i can make it trough any trial or hardship as long as i stay close to him!

How I live my faith

I am a ward missionary, so i get to go visit people who are interested in learning more about the church and also visit those who are less active in the church. i also substitute teach the children in the church when asked to do so, i attend as many baptisms that i can and make sure to show my love and support for them. i also love to share my experiences of converting to the church as well as experiences i have had in the temple to help strengthen the faith of others.
