Hi I'm Marisa Hyland

I grew up in Murray, Utah. I am majoring in Special Education. I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I have a family of 8. I love spending time with my family and friends. I enjoy anything outdoors such as, hiking, camping, four wheeling, fishing, softball, etc. I have grown up watching and playing softball and love it. I am on my mission right now!

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in this church and always knew I felt happy when I was at church. When I was older my whole family and I drifted away from the church. I knew something was missing in my life. Some of the young men in my ward would come to my house every morning and encourage me to come to church with them. I started coming with them and I felt the happiness that I knew when I was younger. I later came to find my own testimony of the truthfulness of this church. I know we have a God. He is our father in Heaven. He created everyone of us, he knows us all, and he loves us all. I know that he loves us so much he sent his only begotten son down to earth to atone for our sins. Heavenly Father created a Plan of Salvation or a Plan of Happiness to bring us back to live with him. This church brings happiness. I have felt of this happiness and that is why I am Mormon.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by serving others. I am a volunteer for the National MS Society. I am a youth councilor at a special needs mutual. I work at a group home for people with disabilities. I also show my faith through acting on that faith by praying, reading the scriptures, and attending church meetings.
