Hi I'm Danielle

I grew up in Utah. I enjoy hunting and being outdoors. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am studying medical laboratory sciences at Weber State University. I enjoy being outdoors, hiking, biking, hunting, archery, and most sports. I love spending time with my family.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents are members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. So I was raised in a strong family. I have always loved feeling the Holy Ghost and attending the temple. Right after I graduated high school I had a major surgery and before I had it my Dad and brother gave me a Priesthood Blessing and I felt the Holy Ghost so strong there is no doubt in my mind the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is the true and restored gospel on earth today.

How I live my faith

I am a ward missionary. I am also on the family home evening committee in my ward. I have also just been called to serve in the Argentina Rosario Mission.

What is a “testimony” that Mormons speak of?

A testimony is a witness given to a person through the Holy Ghost. It is built on the knowledge that there is a God who is your loving Heavenly Father who loves you personally, that Jesus Christ came to the earth is the Son of God and performed the Atonement to pay for our sins, that there is a living prophet on earth today and Joseph Smith is a prophet and the church was organized through him after he was called of God, and knowing that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is Jesus Christ's Church restored on earth today. Mormons believe Jesus Christ is their Savior. Why do we need a Savior?

We all make mistakes in this life, also known as sinning. To be able to live with Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ again we need to be cleansed from our sins. We do this by repenting. The Lord has provided us with the Atonement where Christ suffered for our sins in the Garden of Gethsemane and on the cross. When we sincerely repent of our sins we are forgiven. We repent by confessing our sins to God and anyone else who may have been harmed. Confession to proper priesthood authority needs to be made if the sin is serious. Then we ask for forgiveness from God and those who were harmed. We then try to repair any damages that were made. We then strive to never commit that sin again by forsaking all of our sins. Lastly we strive to keep all of God's commandments. Through this process we can be forgiven of our sins and become clean again. Show more Show less
