Hi I'm Kaden

I grew up in Idaho. I run Varsity Cross Country and Distance Track. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have ran cross country and distance track for my high school every year. I am an Eagle Scout. I love to run and play the piano and hang out with my friends. I have played the piano for 12 years now and am preparing to leave for my mission in a few short (long in my opinion) months. After my mission, I plan to run cross country and distance track for my university in Utah. I am the second oldest in my family of seven. Both my dad and my older brother have served worthy, full-time missions. I strive to be a hardworking missionary. When I graduate with a Master's in Finance, I want to analyze the stock market.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know this Church and this Gospel is true. I know Jesus Christ is my Savior and my Redeemer. He suffered not only for my sins but also for all the pains and sorrows and trials I have felt and will feel in my life. He has been there for me through many difficult tomes whether it be the death of my best friend when I was 14 years old, or just when I needed a friend and needed to feel loved. He has wrapped me in His arms more times than I can count. I know that because of His Eternal Sacrifice and Atonement that I can be saved and that I can return to live in His and my Heavenly Father's presence. I know that Joseph Smith restored Christ's church and that it will never be taken away again. I know that Christ's Priesthood is on this Earth because I have felt its eternal power many times in my life. I know the Book of Mormon is true because I have personally read it and have acted upon its promise. (Moroni 10: 3-5) I know that Heavenly Father and his son, Jesus Christ, love me. I know that I am a son of God. I know and have realized that I have never been happier in my than when I have lived and abided by the teachings of the Gospel and hearkened to the voice of Living Prophets and Apostles. I know that prayer works. I have felt the comfort and peace that comes form being able to communicate with my Father in Heaven and hear his Loving guidance. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

How I live my faith

I have actively participated in Seminary in my high school and am currently taking a Missionary Prep. class to get better prepared for my upcoming mission. I try to be an example to others around me by being friends with everyone around me and helping others when they need it. I am always there for my friends. My phone is always on loud just in case the occasion arises that someone needs a person to talk to or needs help. In my Ward, I am the first assistant to the Bishop and am in charge of leading the young men in my ward ages 16-18. I have also been in various leadership positions in church youth groups since i was 12. I do my best to exemplify the qualities of Christ by embodying the qualities and responsibilities of Eagle Scout by always trying to serve God and my fellow man. I also try to live the Restored Gospel of Jesus Christ by studying and learning about him so I can better teach the people in my mission, and I help missionaries teach investigators of the Church by going on visits with them to investigators' homes. I also try to bring the Light of Christ and the peaceful of the Holy Ghost into my life and the lives of others by using my talent of playing the piano to play songs and hymn arrangements that bring His Spirit to life.
