Hi I'm Steven

I am a college student. I enjoy playing sports and traveling. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Steven and I am the oldest of five children. I enjoy playing games and vacationing with my family. My favorite state to visit is Florida. I have always appreciated the opportunity to learn. Last year I graduated from high school and I recently finished my first semester of college. I am studying economics and plan to have a career in international business. I like to play and watch sports, especially football and basketball. I am a big fan of both the BYU Cougars and Nebraska Cornhuskers. I am currently serving a mission in Cochabamba, Bolivia.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day saints because I know that it is the church of God today. I have received confirmation from the Holy Ghost that this is Christ's church and because I have been blessed with that knowledge I am responsible to follow its doctrines. By following the teachings of this church I know that I can return to live in heaven with my Heavenly Father, Jesus, and my family. That is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I had the opportunity to serve as a leader for the youth my age from the time I was 12 until I was 18. My primary responsibilities as a youth leader were organizing weekly activities and making sure the needs of other youth were met. Since I turned 14 I've also served as a home teacher. This means that once a month I teach another family in my congregation a lesson about a gospel doctrine. It also means that I help that family out when they are in need of anything.
