Hi I'm Taylor Hawryluk

I'm a university student. I love music, reading, and finding beauty in all of God's creations. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I've just finished up my first year of university in Canada, and fully enjoyed the life of a student. However I'm about to embark on a new adventure in my life by serving as a missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I'm so excited for the this privilege of serving God's children. I love listening to and playing music. I sing a bit and enjoy playing the piano. I also really enjoy reading when I have the time. I like reading good classics and romances. I'm not very athletic, but I do enjoy running and cycling. I even did my first triathlon last year!

Why I am a Mormon

The peace and joy I find in the atonement of Jesus Christ I cannot find anywhere else. I know that he suffered for me so I can repent and return to live with my Father in Heaven. Christ is my redeemer, friend, and advocate. It is through him that I can progress and be perfected. I want nothing more then to live again with my Father in Heaven. I'm a Mormon because I know that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is Christ's restored church here on the earth, and I know it is only through Christ that I can reach my potential as a daughter of God.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by making it a priority in my everyday life. I put attending church, fulfilling my church responsibilities, and growing in the knowledge of truth above any selfish desires. I find that when I put Him first, everything else false into place in my life. One if the responsibility I have in my congregation is to teach the women in church on Sunday. I teach a lesson about once a month. I'm grateful for this opportunity because I learn so much when I'm preparing and giving my lessons. One of the most important ways I live my faith though is fully. I'm not perfect, but I always try to live what I know to be true 100% of the time. I know that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is the true restored gospel of Jesus Christ here on the earth. Because of this testimony I have, I try to do all I can to live my faith as perfectly as I can, and I know that when I do put forth my best effort I find the most peace and happiness.
