Hi I'm Anna Smith

I raise Guide Dogs, play soccer, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have always been an animal lover, and have grown up with everything from boa constrictors to roosters. I also love all sports, but have a special passion for soccer. I love reading novels and writing fiction and poetry. I also enjoy playing the flute and love music. I love to spend time outside, particularly camping and fishing. I love spending time with my family, and board games are some of my favorite ways to do so!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that my Heavenly Father loves me. I have felt that love and know that it is real. I know that He feels a unique, tremendous love for everyone. I know that He wants all of us to do our best to make it back to Him. I know that true and complete repentance is possible only through the Atonement of Jesus Christ. I am so grateful for the power of the priesthood in my life. The Book of Mormon truly has changed my life, and I have seen it change others', and I know that it is the word if God. I would not be anything without this gospel, and that's why I'm a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I learned about the gospel from a very young age. I was baptized at the age of eight, and my parents have always taught me about the importance of service. Combining my love of animals with my love of service, I jumped at the chance to become a puppy raiser for Guide Dogs for the Blind. I have raised four guide dogs and have enjoyed every minute! I am so happy to be able to serve in a way that allows me to follow my passions. I am the happiest when I am serving. As I participate in school sponsored events, recreational activities, or things I enjoy doing with my peers, I strive to maintain the light of Christ with me at all times and to never grow complacent in my faith. I try to make it a part of my every day life and to act in the way and with the love of my Savior.
