Hi I'm Chelsea

I'm a Special Education Major at BYU, soon to be Sister Cloward, and I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I think the best way to describe who I am is I am SO passionate about people. I love anyone and everyone, especially those who are less fortunate. I love spending my time with my brother and cousins who were born with special needs. Seeing life through their eyes is one of the most remarkable gifts from my Heavenly Father.

Why I am a Mormon

When I was 8, I was baptized as a member. Though I was excited, I didn't really understand what it all meant to be a Mormon. It wasn't until the age of 11 when my parents were going through a divorce, and I watched my dad leave the church that I really decided that I was going to make the gospel my strength and my life. Since then, I have been through some very traumatic trials, trials that if not for my testimony in this beautiful gospel and the testimonies of those who served me and were around me, would leave me with nothing. I have chosen to be a Mormon because of the beautiful life it brings me. I have true knowledge that brings peace to my soul, and meaning to my life. I chose to be a Mormon because it allows me to be the best person I could possible become. I chose to be a Mormon because I know the teachings in it are true, and for me personally as well as for everyone else. I chose to be a Mormon because Christ Atoned for my sins, he atone for my life, to know of all the experiences I would face and to know how to best help me in my times of weakness.I know my Father lives, and I know he loves me, and because of all of this knowledge, I have chosen to be a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by being the best example of Christ I can be, and each day trying to become better than who I was the day before. I participate in callings, and though it gets hard and stressful, I do it because I know not only I will be blessed but the others I am serving will be. I bare my testimony as often as I can, to anyone who will listen. I pray to see the needs of others, even strangers, before my own and to act on it. I try to give of my time to those who need it most. Serving others in turn brings me joy greater than I could achieve on my own.
