Hi I'm Savanah

I am a business student, a horse lover, and sister missionary serving in the Philippines, Cebu mission. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a university student studying business management with a major in human resources and law. I love the beach, I love to travel and I am a huge horse lover. My dream job would be owning my own horse stables. I love being part of a big family and am currently serving the Lord as sister missionary in the Philippines, Cebu mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because of the peace and happiness the Gospel brings me. I grew up in the church and during my youth wondered if what I had been taught since I was young was really true. I decided to read the Book of Mormon for myself, and after much prayer and pondering, I came to know that this church is true, and the Gospel truly can bring us happiness and peace in our lives if we follow the commandments with real intent. I am thankful for the directions we are given, and the peace that comes from knowing that when we are following the ways of the Lord, He will always be there to help us throughout our entire lives. I am thankful for being a member of this church, and the opportunity I have been blessed with to go and serve a mission and help others come unto Christ. I have a great desire to share with others the way to peace and happiness and how we can receive comfort in our lives when trials come our way, and when we are faced with sorrow. Life is not easy nor will it ever be, but with the help of a Heavenly Father and by following the Gospel, our burdens can be lightened, our pains eased, and we can feel love and peace continually in our lives.

How I live my faith

I live my faith through serving others, and trying more and more each day to obey the commandments that we have been given, and learn more about the Gospel. I teach my peers in Sunday School and learn more each time I teach others. I am was a ward missionary while preparing for my own mission, and loved being able to go out with other missionaries and help teach people in my area about the church and to provide service to them as well.
