Hi I'm Marcus

I'm from PA, USA. I love the piano, singing, dancing, making food. I am adopted and have a wonderful family. I am a Mormon.

About Me

For me, music is something I love to be involved with. I can play the piano, and the trumpet though I haven't picked one up in years. I come from a great family and I am adopted. I don't know my biological mom though maybe one day I will. I also love to cook and eat food. My favorite food I love to eat, and could probably eat everyday sometimes is pizza. I love to run and to learn different things. I like to imagine and sometimes write things like poem and hope one day to actually if I could do it write a book. Overall, I am grateful for where I am at and how I am becoming. Learning things one step at a time.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the church, but the reason I am a Mormon is because of the testimony I have received. I have come to know that the Book of Mormon is true that as well that Joseph Smith was a prophet of God. I have come to know that Jesus is the Christ and that here is there for each of us as well as our Heavenly Father. I have had times in my life when I have felt alone and confused and afraid and felt like no one has understood me,but through the midst of the trials and the pain I know that they are both watching over us and are there to make our burdens light. And as I continue to serve the Lord and follow the counsel of the the Lord through a prophet He has called today and the leaders of the church, my testimony gets stronger and becomes more edified. I know this church is true, and no one can take away that knowledge or my personal experiences of finding it out. If we move forward in faith, the blessings and the joy that comes and the knowledge of who you are really is there and will help us return to live with our Father and our family as we are each faithful again.

How I live my faith

I live my faith is by doing many consistent things each day. Every night and morning, I say a prayer to God, and I thank Him for what He has done for me , and I also let Him know of what is going on in my life whether it be joys or struggles. I try though I can do better to make it as personal as it can be with Him so we can have a good relationship. I also try to read my scriptures every day because it gives me the fuel to keep going and remember the Savior and how I can improve my life. I have just come back from a two year mission in Ghana, and it has been such a blessing to me, and it has helped me to see the world more differently than I have before. I feel that we ,as children of God, are not alone and can turn to our Savior and God or as I call Him my Heavenly Father for help and for guidance. They care about us and want us to be happy here on this earth and in eternity. I feel when I do those little things I can remember them and can be able to feel like I am not alone, but instead have two great friends or family by my side. With that I can be able to move forward and stay true to who I am and want to become and who they see me to really be.
