Hi I'm Lexis Allen

I'm a college student, currently serving as a missionary in the Roseville, CA mission, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently serving as a full time missionary in the California Roseville Mission. I will be serving until December 2014 and then willl return home to finish my education. I attended Utah State University for 2 years before my mission and was involved with a lot of the extracurricular programs at Utah State and a member of Alpha Chi Omega sorority. I love being active and being outside. My favorite sport is volleyball. I love zumba, working out, and playing sports.

Why I am a Mormon

I love this gospel with all my heart. I know this church is 100% true. I am so grateful for it in my life and know that it brings my life pure joy and happiness. I'm happy to know that I have a Heavenly Father in heaven who is watching out for me and always there for me when I need him. I am grateful to have the opportunity to speak to my Heavenly Father through prayer. He has done everything for me. I am so grateful for the atonement and Christ's sacrifice for each and every one of us. I know that through his atonement we can return to live with him again. I know all of this to be true and wouldn't go out and serve if I didnt know that this is such a valuable message that needs to be shared.

How I live my faith

I held many positions in the church while I was in the Young Woman's program. I served as the Gospel Doctrines teacher in my singles ward. I am currently a full time mission for the church. I really believe that just as important as what we believe, is living what we believe. There was a time in my life when I wasn't living the way I should and I realized how unhappy I really was. I know that this gospel and the atonement of Jesus Christ are the only things that could help me become ultimately happy again. I firmly believe that our decisions determine our destiny. The choices we make now are very vital. They not only affect us, but our future families. We need to maintain an eternal perspective.
