Hi I'm Rachael

I love singing and basketball! I love my family! I grew up in utah and am a mountain girl! I'm a mormon!

About Me

I am currently a college student. I am one of ten children in a blended family. I have 7 sisters and 2 brothers. I played basketball throughout high school! I also LOVE singing! I have taken voice lessons for a long time and have performed in several musicals. I enjoy the outdoors and the mountains! I love to laugh! I have an awesome group of friends. My family is the most important part of my life. I especially enjoy playing with my nieces and nephews!

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. My parents are strong members of the Church. Although I grew up in the church, I did not lean on my parents knowledge for long. I applied the principles of prayer and scripture study they and church leaders taught me and gained a testimony from a very young age that the Book of Mormon was a true book. I believe I have loving Heavenly parents and a Savior who loves me. My testimony and knowledge has only gotten stronger as I have applied and reapplied the principles taught from the gospel to my life and have received answers from the Holy Ghost bearing witness to me that these things are true. I have seen and experienced the joy that can only come through living the principle of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by doing the simple and small things. I say my prayers and read the scriptures daily. I go to church weekly. But I also live my faith by my lifestyle. I try to find ways to serve my family and people around me. I recognize my faults and weaknesses and turn them over to the Savior and trust that He will help me overcome them. Soon I will be serving a mission in Montana. I will be giving a year and a half of my life to be an instrument in the Lord's hands to teach the Gospel of Jesus Christ to people who want to know more.
