Hi I'm Jason Webb

I'm an Arizonan (born and raised), I'm an avid sports fan, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in Gilbert, Arizona and have lived in the same house my entire life. I've been blessed with an amazing family that I couldn't live without. I am the youngest (by five years) of four children. I have two older sisters and an older brother, all of whom are married. I have an adorable two and half year old niece and another one on the way. I also consider all my in-laws to be some of my closest friends. Since I was very little, I have always been involved in sports. You name the sport and I've probably at least tried it at some point in my life. Growing up, I have always loved to be outside doing things whether it be playing sports with my friends or camping. I have always been a huge sports fan. My favorite sports would have to be Lacrosse and American Football. as mentioned earlier, my hometown is Gilbert, Arizona and i wouldn't have it any other way. I love it, because it is just far enough away from the beach and the snow to where it isn't an enormous hassle to take a trip there whenever it is desired. I also have future aspirations to go to college and to have a family of my own that I can support through my work.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the Church; however I can't say that I truly obtained my own testimony of the gospel until I was a Sophomore in high school. That was the year I decided to read the Book of Mormon for myself and I can honestly say that my life has been completely changed ever since. After I prayed about it, I knew that the Book of Mormon was the true word of God. As the nest few years went by, my testimony grew (Not without trials though) and it has led me to the point where I am today as I prepare to finally serve my mission in Bahia Blanca, Argentina. I know that there will be many ups and downs on my mission, but that as I serve diligently and seek out my Savior Jesus Christ and my Heavenly Father, that my testimony will only grow, and that I will only solidify my foundation that this is the true Gospel on the Earth.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by attending church every Sunday. Over the last few months, I have had the opportunity serve in a church calling that requires me to teach eight and nine year old children about our faith. While it has often times been stressful and a trial of my patience, it has been an enormous blessing to me nonetheless. Growing up I have also participated in youth group activities which typically met every Sunday and Wednesday. In November of 2012, I received my mission call to serve in Bahia Blanca, Argentina for two years and in exactly one week I will be leaving to go to the Provo Missionary Training Center (March 27, 2013). I am so excited to serve the Lord as well as the people of Argentina and can't wait for the wonderful experiences that are ahead of me.
