Hi I'm Bryce Skelton

I am a son, brother, friend, and student. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I LOVE learning and helping others understand the things that confuse them if I am able to. Right now I'm a missionary and am finding an ever increased love for the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I love talking with others and getting to know them. I'm always looking for a new friend.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because His church is the only church that makes sense to me. I have many friends of many different faiths and I've asked them about their beliefs. The funny thing I've found is where two faiths differ this faith includes both. I know that this church is true and that it has His restored gospel. I know that the Father loves each and every one of us.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by volunteering whenever possible. I also do my best to help those that are curious about Mormons understand what we believe. I occasionally teach Sunday School in my branch and I love every moment.

Why are Mormons asked to donate 10% of their income to their Church?

Bryce Skelton
To me tithing is how we show our Father in heaven our dedication to him. In everyday life we may tell our parents or a significant other "I love you" for me paying tithing is one of the many ways we can show our love to the Father. Since I'm in college I can't pay very much and at times it's really difficult to follow this commandment because I think "Oh I can use this money to hang out with friends!" While this may be true I've found that when I pay tithing I end up having enough to pay all the necessary expenses and be happy. I don't know exactly why we have to pay 10% but I do know that it is what the Lord has asked of us, and for all the wonderful blessings he gives us it is something relatively small that we can give back to Him.
