Hi I'm Aubrey
I grew up in Provo, UT. I love to dance, sing, act, read, write, and I'm a Mormon.
I just finished my freshman year in college at BYU-Hawaii. I have been doing generals to prepare me for nursing school, which I plan on attending after my mission. I eventually hope to be able to bring modern medicine to areas of the world that lack it. I have been called to the Tegucigalpa, Honduras mission and report in May. I am so grateful for the opportunity to serve the Lord in such a tangible way.
My mom always says that I was born with a testimony. I can't think of an instance where I have doubted the teachings and part of that comes from being raised in the church. As I have progressed in my journey back to my father, I feel like my testimony and beliefs have become solidified through the personal experiences that I have experienced and from the testimony of others. Truly, it is the influence of God's wonderful angels in my everyday life who have influenced me and who I am today. The Gospel brings me the most peace and joy that anything could. I just feel constantly happy and good thanks to the influence that it give to me in my life. I am so grateful that I can be blessed to be a member in these latter days.
Most people think that growing up in Provo, Utah, you are surrounded by Mormon's 24-7. So in high school, I personally didn't feel a need to express to others that I was Mormon, or be too public about my beliefs. I learned however that there were many struggling with their testimonies, who needed a strong example. I found that even in a Mormon environment, we still have to be strong for those who aren't. This can be done in a myriad of ways, through our conduct, our dress, and our deeds.
