Hi I'm Krista

I love to sing, play piano and simply enjoy the presence of my family and friends. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently studying at Brigham Young University with hopes of someday becoming a Physician's Assistant. I enjoy playing the piano in what limited free time I have and pretending that I can play the guitar.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised as a Mormon so I was taught a lot of the Church's teachings at a young age. As I grew older, I started to question and wonder why I was putting so much effort into keeping the commandments, coming to church every Sunday, and just living a life that was considered "restrictive" to the world. I prayed and put some serious work into finding out if this church was true, not through facts, but through faith. As I put my faith in the Lord, things just started to work out for me. I somehow managed to get into BYU and from there, my testimony has only grown with the amazing people and teachers who exemplify their light of Christ through everyday actions. I can now say through my own testimony that I know that this Church is true and that is why I choose to be a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I have held many different callings in the church but one of my most rewarding ones was being a part of the service committee. We planned out Blood drives and organized service projects to feed people who couldn't afford a Thanksgiving meal. Service is a great importance in the church because through loving and serving our fellow men, we are loving and serving Christ and our Heavenly Father.
