Hi I'm Kyle

I am 23, a husband, raised in South-Eastern Washington, the oldest child of 6 kids, grew up on a farm, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Growing up I loved to be outside. I played Basketball, Football, Soccer, Baseball, Golf, and Softball. I don't only enjoy playing sports but I love water skiing, hiking, camping, hunting, snow skiing, working with my hands, building things, riding recreation vehicle, and working on the farm. After High School I went to a semester of college and BYU after which I served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Germany. I had the time of my life teaching people the about the restored Gospel of Jesus Christ. Upon returning home I went back to BYU for one more year of school before I married my wife in the Manti Temple. I love being married. Although it may be difficult sometimes, I get much satisfaction in providing for my wife as well as myself. We both are working on our Bachelors degree, she in English and I in Agronomy. I love farming so much that I knew that I couldn't live without it being a part of who I am.

Why I am a Mormon

I choose to be a member of The Church of Jesus Christ because I know it is true. I know that it is true because I have asked God, in prayer, whether or not this is the true church upon the earth today. I know this church is the only true church because whatever I read, study, or see pertaining to this church I can feel the spirit of God in myself. I choose to be a member because I have read The Book of Mormon and I know that it was written by God's prophets on the American continents and I know that it is another testament of Jesus Christ. The Book of Mormon and the Bible are synonymous in their teachings of Jesus Christ which is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I choose to live my faith by serving where needed. The Lord has a plan for each of us and I know that if we listen to the spirit, we will be directed in all our ways. Service is a big part of my life and I enjoy doing it. I serve as a counselor to the bishop of our ward. By serving the Lord in this calling I have an overwhelming feeling of gratitude about me because I have began to realize how blessed my life is. As a counselor to the bishop I help him teach the members of the ward truths of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I also get many opportunities to greet and meet with these members which allows me to make new friends and serve. As I strive to follow the Savior's example I find that I feel better about who I am and what I am able to do and accomplish. I love the truth of the Gospel and the good feelings it brings to me and my family. I know that through Jesus Christ and only through him and his Atonement can we qualify ourselves to return to be in the presence of The Father after this life. I want to do my best all the time but like everyone I am not perfect. This is why I rejoice in the perfect life of the Savior. I am grateful for the power of prayer and for the opportunity we all are given to communicate with God. Everyday when I pray I feel a feeling of love and I know that he hears me. I know that Jesus Christ lives and that his Gospel is on the earth today. I look forward to the day that he will return to this earth again.
