Hi I'm Taisha

I've lived in Georgia since I was 5 years old. I'm the oldest in a family of 7: 3 girls, 2 boys. I'm a mormon

About Me

I'm a college student, majoring in chemistry and minoring in music. I play the flute in a Flute Choir at my school. I was in marching band all four years of high school. I love chemistry and music (obviously...I'm studying them :P). I am the oldest of 5 kids, 2 sisters, 2 brothers. I love each and every one of my siblings. I cross-stitch, knit, and crochet. I made each of my siblings an afghan for their mission. I will serve in the Roseville, California mission for 18 months, come May, 2013.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon, because the teachings of the church are completely true in my eyes. I have no reason to say otherwise. I love the gospel and I hope to always love the gospel. It makes sense, and answers questions no other church seems to have the true answer to. The Mormon church teaches me to be the best I can be and be a good person. I love the church. I love learning all I can through what the gospel has to offer. I know the Book of Mormon holds truth and so does the Bible. I love learning about the history of the church and what saints long ago and not so long ago had to go through. I love knowing I have a Heavenly Father who loves me. I love knowing he sent his son so I can return to him.

How I live my faith

I am currently preparing to go on a mission. I leave for the Roseville, California, English speaking mission on May 1, 2013. I go to Church every Sunday to partake of the Sacrament and attend class meetings. I go to Institute every Tuesday to learn about the history of this Church.
