Hi I'm Miranda

I grew up in Arkansas, US. I am the 5th of 6 children. I love the scriptures. I love God. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am 5th out of 6 children. I love reading, horseback riding, cooking and baking, and spending time with my family and friends. Music is a big part of my life. I enjoy singing and listening to music. I have completed part of a business management degree and plan to go to cosmetology school in the next year or so. I love making the world a more beautiful and better place for my family and everyone else.

Why I am a Mormon

Even though I grew up in the church I had to come to a point in my life to chose if I believed what I was a part of or not. I reached this point several times; somewhere between middle school and high school, and again when I left for college. Growing up in the south my beliefs were questioned often. I didn't read fully through the Book of Mormon till I was in high school. I gained my testimony of the truthfulness of that book through study and prayer. I know that everyone who does this will find that they can know for themselves too. I still read it every day and need the peace that it brings to my hectic life. My testimony of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints increases every time that I stand on the grounds of the holy temples, and with in their walls. I know that God loves me and He will always direct my paths. I know that there is a prophet on the earth today, just like prophets of old, and that prophet is Thomas S Monson. You can know for yourself, just look and ask.

How I live my faith

My family is something that is really important to me. Growing up it was always important to heat dinner together and spend time through out the week. I am currently away from my family for 18 months to serve a mission and share how the restored Gospel of Jesus Christ has bless the lives of my family as well as my own. The best part of a mission is seeing people accept His Gospel and feel the love of God more abundantly in there lives.
