Hi I'm Donavon

I grew up in a little town in northern Utah. I love running. I love rock climbing. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am Donavon. I have lived in a tiny northern Utah town with more cows than people all of my life. I have been raised by not only great parents but also loving and caring friends and neighbors in our tight knit community. I went to a small high school where everyone is like one big family. I love the sport of Track and Field. In high school I competed in the 400 meter dash and the pole vault. I love the atmosphere of competition, teamwork, and good sportsmanship.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon not only because I have been raised in it, but because throughout my life I have seen the blessings that come from living the Gospel of Jesus Christ. As I have read the Bible and The Book of Mormon and prayed in faith to know if the things said in them are true I have been given an answer. I know without a doubt that God loves us and that he has called prophets to lead and guide us and to share with us his words. I know this church is true. That is why I am giving two years of my life in service to the Lord and serving a mission.

How I live my faith

In my branch my calling is ward chorister. My job is to lead the music as the congregation sings. I enjoy music and love the spirit that is felt as hymns are played and sung.
