Hi I'm Angela

I was born a Mormon, i have lived a Mormon, i AM a Mormon.

About Me

I am the youngest of 3 sisters, i was born a Mormon and have lived a Mormon life. I have lived in my small town of Springville my whole life, went to school here and graduated from high school here. I have worked many jobs including Landscaping, Packaging, Bakery, Call Center, Referee, whatever i come across in all honesty. I am a student at Utah Valley University in Orem and i am working on my Bachelors degree in Psychology now that i have returned from the Canada Winnipeg Mission. I have been a musician as long as i can remember, i started out on piano at 6 years old and started percussion (drums) when i was 8 years old and have been playing since, from concert bands to philharmonic orchestras, even in marching band involving tours of California, Colorado, and all across Utah. Music is my life and passion and its what gives me my power to be me. I love the Gospel, I love my life, my family and friends are everything to me. Smile Jesus loves you :)

Why I am a Mormon

Because this church is true, Joseph Smith built this church on the correct principles and laws that we must abide and live by. Our living Prophet gives us guidance and shows us the way, what more do we need to say to prove we are Mormon. The other members who have touched my life through this gospel are more than i can count and through their shining examples and the one i hope to be. i am a Mormon

How I live my faith

grew up living in Primary, Achievement Days, Young Women's, Singles ward, Relief Society, all of the things give me a social life where i can learn from others testimonies, i have been given lots of leadership callings which give me the responsibility to help others and share what i know with others, i have done volunteer service and helped out people in my wards, i serve my neighbors and my family with anything from chores to saying hello to them. I go to church as often as possible and help support my friends that sometimes miss church. I just enjoy feeling the love of the gospel and even hearing the outside perspective of our church, i enjoy hearing all thoughts and ideas to help broaden my horizon. I live through the inspirational music of musicians and others around me. i play to feel the spirit and i listen to hear the truth from others. quite amazing actually how much music can tell you about people and their inner thoughts.

Are all Mormons required to serve a mission?

the church does not require all members to serve missions. They do require all WORTHY men who are of the age of 18 to serve missions. and for women it is an option to go serve at the age of 19. but no one is forced to serve a mission they are just strongly recommended to serve if they are worthy and able Show more Show less

Why do Mormon missionaries proselyte?

Proselyting is one of the more effective ways to get in touch with people. Proselyting is more than just knocking from door to door or walking up and down the streets talking to people. It's a way of getting to know the people, the area, and the culture. You are always learn as you proselyte and you have a companion with you as well to help and support you and be with you as you learn these different things. We can't just sit on our bums and do nothing watching TV or computer screens, we have to go out and talk to people. You would be surprised with what you would learn. Show more Show less
