Hi I'm Travis

I live in Utah have been taught about God and will my whole life. I've been blessed in many ways. I'm glad to be LDS.

About Me

Well I've lived a pretty simple life so far I guess. Raised in a small town. Road my bike to friends houses and when i got older I road it for the fun of it and exercise. I enjoyed my childhood. One of my favorite things about it was going up to my grandparents farm and working for them for a summer and spending time with them and cousins. I learned how hard work pays off and the good feeling you get when seeing the fruits of your efforts. I think that is also where really learned to appreciate the outdoors. My grandma would always stop me and my brother and tell us to look around and remember nature and how it looked, because in 30 years or when we are grown up it won't look the same. One night my grandpa asked my and my brother one time if we had ever just stopped everything and listened to nature. To the bugs, the wind, and everything around us. It was something I wont ever forget and something that I now enjoy doing. Taking that moment to stop and watch the sun set and see the light and colors in the sky. I love being able to take pictures of those times and then sharing them with family and friends. I also enjoy working on dirt bikes and riding them on the trails in the mountains by my house. I pretty much enjoy doing anything outside. Hiking, sports, mt. biking, camping, and other activities. Some of my hobbies are drawing, mechanics, carving in wood and antler, biking, and playing lacrosse.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon of a Latter Day Saint of Jesus Christ because of the light, truth, comfort, and blessings it brings into my life. The things I have learned and experienced, there's no other way to describe them than from gifts given to my from God. He sent his son, Jesus Christ here to die for my sins so that I could repent and come to live with him again. He loves us so much. So much that we as mortals can't fully comprehend. God, our Father in Heaven knows each of us, his sons and daughters, so well. He knows us perfectly and understands everything about us. Our eldest brother, Jesus Christ also understands all things about us. He has felt and experience them all. Every pain, sorrow, joy, and hope. God and Jesus are always there for us, listening, guiding, and loving us. A way has been prepared for us for us, God's sons and daughters, to become like him. To have pure joy, and happiness. To be all knowing and to have a pure, true, perfect love for all. Everything we have in our lives can be traced back to God and his love for us. The knowledge he gives us. This gorgeous world he has placed us in to live and learn. We are all so blessed.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith constantly and keep it and my love for my Savior, Jesus Christ, and my Heavenly Father as the center of my life. I'm not perfect and often find myself straying, either ignoring truth or just losing focus. But i always come back. I can not deny what I know. That Jesus came to this earth and lived a perfect life then gave it, and died, for me personally. He did it for me, and you, because of his immense love for me, and each and every one of us. I know that because of his sacrifice that we can live with him again. That we can become perfect and find pure joy and happiness in this life and the next.
