Hi I'm Caitlin

I am a high school student, a lover of good books, music, and am a photographer. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in Anchorage, Alaska. As much as I love the cold weather, I enjoy living in Southern California. I am currently a junior in high school. I love taking pictures, reading, shopping, laying on the beach, catching waves, and hanging with my siblings and friends.

Why I am a Mormon

I am greatly blessed to be born into the Lord's church. It is true that my ancestors were some of the first members of the LDS church and crossed America to build up Zion, but this is not the reason I am a Mormon. I am a Mormon because I have read the Book of Mormon, multiple times, and have studied Doctrine & Covenants and the Bible diligently. I have come to a knowledge for myself, that this doctrine is right and true. I know this church to be true. I am planning on serving a mission in a few years to share the gospel with God's children, and to bring them the happiness I have from living the gospel.

How I live my faith

I live my faith every day. I wake up and go to seminary before school starts. At school, I use kind and uplifting words. I try not to say anything that could bring anyone down. I usually wear my CTR ring (choose the right), or a medallion I received from the Young Women's program in the church. I dress modestly, while looking cute! When I go to the beach, I choose to wear a modest swimsuit. I wear my testimony. I know my body is a temple and I love my Heavenly Father, so I respect my body by dressing and acting modestly.
