Hi I'm Rachael Pitts

I am the oldest of 4 girls. Cheerleader at Brigham Young University. Been Called to Serve in the Norway Oslo Mission.

About Me

I grew up in Highland, Utah as the oldest of 4 girls. I have a love for everything that Utah has to offer; Snow Skiing in the Winter, Lake Powell Boating Trips in the Summer. I have a passion for life and adventure. I Cheerlead for Brigham Young University. I love being surrounded by people and in an atmosphere that supports my standards and morals and having the opportunity to do what I love. I will be spending the next 18 months in Norway, where I will get to teach people why I am so passionate about life and what brings me true happiness.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon. I know it. I live it. I love it. The Gospel of Jesus Christ brings me more happiness than I can comprehend. That is why I am a Mormon. It makes me happy. It gives me hope! It gives me light. It gives me Joy! Mormonism is part of who I am. I wouldn't be me without it. It helps me be a better person. I am reaching my full potential through it. The reason I know this is because I know that Jesus Christ is our Savior. He atoned and died for us so that one day we can return and live with him and our Father in Heaven again. But only through Jesus Christ can we get there. Only through him can we be sealed to our families forever. Only through him we can be forgiven of our sins. I know that Christ lives. I know that he is the light. That he is the Way. And that is why I am in Norway. I want everyone to know and understand God's love for each of his children. I want everyone to have the same happiness that I have because of the knowledge of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I strive everyday to live the gospel of Jesus Christ; to be an example of the believers and the non-believers. I live my faith by loving others, by serving them, by creating friendships that will last forever. I have had the opportunity to serve as the compassionate service leader in my ward. I have loved it. "When you are in the service of your fellow beings you are only in the service of you God." When you lose yourself in service. You find yourself. And that is ultimately what I love about the gospel, it turns your focus outward to help other people.
