Hi I'm David

I am a pharmacy student at the University of Wyoming. I'm married to the love of my life. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I enjoy the outdoors and having a good time. I'm a scientist at heart and have always gravitated towards the physiological and chemical sciences. Im currently in school to become a pharmacist. I love my family and enjoy spending time with them. I love being married to my wife, it's a lot better than being single ever was.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the mormon faith. But after much consideration I realized that I would never change. My faith has brought me closer to Jesus Christ more than any other way possible. The Book of Mormon has helped me understand that this church is right for me. It has supplemented the bible in building my Christianity. I would strongly urge everyone to read that book to see what it has to offer them.

How I live my faith

I like to think of myself as an Orthodox Latter-day Saint. I love my religion because it has so much to offer. It has opened my eyes to the world and helped me understand life a lot better. My religion has helped me understand Gods purpose for this life. I also have a sincerely strong relationship with God and his son Jesus Christ. I don't recognize Jesus Christ as my pal. I realize that he is my savior, master, and deity. I try to model my life after his since he is my ultimate role model.

What is the Law of Chastity?

For me the Law of Chastity is evidence that God cares about what we do in our personal lives. Our ability to procreate is one of the greatest gifts that God has given us. By using this gift in a responsible manner we can enjoy a level of happiness that is hard to match. When use the power of procreation irresponsibly or selfishly then we are making ourselves subject to disappointment and regret. Sometimes it seems like everything in this world is pressuring me to give into my physical urges and desires. There are some that say that if I don't give in then I am not being true to myself. Giving in to these urges may cause satisfaction for a brief time, but eventually it will go away. I strongly feel that learning to master our desires and control ourselves leads to satisfaction that lasts longer. Show more Show less
