Hi I'm Lorie Crone

I love my family. We have moved various times around the country. I love working with little children. I'm a mormon.

About Me

I love little children. I work with children who are between eighteen months old and three years of age. Little children fill my life with joy, as I watch them learn and grow. They always seem to have an endless supply of energy to learn and discover something new. I hope to someday have my own family to protect and care for. I have always admired parents who have large families. My mother and father both came from large families. As a child I was blessed with sisters and brothers who became my best friends in life. We loved each other and went to one another simply for guidance and love. Even through my teenage years, my siblings were my best friends. Family is important to me. My family has taught me so much. Today if I need help or love I know my family is there for me and I can go to them for instruction. I hope to be a great parent as my Father and Mother were before me. My parents are definitely my role models. I seek to be as they were to me; an example of Christ, full of charity and love, willing to serve. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints offers a safe haven from the world. It brings happiness that can be found nowhere else on earth. I hope to be a strong mother ready to reach out to my children if they stumble. I hope to bring happiness to my family and teach them to follow in the footprints of Christ.

Why I am a Mormon

My Father and Mother are members if the LDS church and I was raised in that religion. Yes, I have been to other churches. I discovered that the LDS church contains doctrine and a certain joy found nowhere else. The way to know of the truth is to study and pray. I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is true. I know God lives. I know that I can study His teachings through the scriptures and modern leaders of His church. I know through prayer I can speak to Him and through the gospel I can learn and grow. I know I have a purpose in this life. I know there is a life after this. I say this in the name of Jesus Christ Amen.

How I live my faith

When I was a youth I helped plan and organize service projects. The service projects we did were picking up trash, cleaning up yards, painting houses, shoveling snow, filling sand bags, and reaching out to those who needed us. Most of the service was done for the community. The service was sometimes very difficult. However, with a large group of helping hands the work was completed. The service projects I did as a youth were my most memorable. I loved feeling the accomplishment of helping someone. Not only did we serve, but I learned the joy of service. I learned that when you are in the service of others you are only in the service of God. By serving I was able to be closer to the Savior. When helping others I forgot about myself and thought of how I can be more helpful. I learned something I hope to never forget and hope to forever continue; to serve my Father in Heaven.

Do you really believe there is a prophet like Moses alive today?

Lorie Crone
God loves us. He works through others to help His children. He reveals to us what we are to do. God never abandons us. He gave us the Bible and The Book of Mormon for guidance to find our way home. Revelation from God has been given from the beginning of Adam. He loves us so much and desires us to return to live with him. Not only has he provided us with His doctrine, He continues reveal truth through the modern day prophets, which is President Thomas S. Monson. He loves us and would never leave us. I testify that Thomas S. Monson is a prophet of God. I say this is the name of Jesus Christ Amen. Show more Show less
