Hi I'm Brittany

I live in Utah. I live for adventure. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in California and lived there until I was 6 before moving to Utah. I was born into the LDS church. I have 3 siblings. An older sister who is married and lives in Nevada, an older brother who is married with two sons who I adore, and a little sister who is still attending high school. I have been playing the piano, violin and viola since I was 8 years old. In high school I played soccer, basketball, ran cross country and was on the track and swim team. I am crazy about animals. I love having pets no matter what kind they are. My friends and family mean the world to me. I am studying Dental Hygiene at Utah Valley University.

Why I am a Mormon

Since I grew up in the church some may say I didn't need to be converted. I would disagree with that. Everyone needs to find the truth for themselves and I have done so. I have attended a lot of other churches in my life and they were all wonderful and teach a lot of truth, but there is always just something missing. Little by little my testimony has grown over the years and I have had to receive a knowledge of each principle individually. I know that if you pray to find an answer for something eventually you will receive it. Sometimes it takes a long time. Sometimes the answer isn't what you were hoping for. But I do know that if we have faith that we will receive an answer and ask with a sincere heart we will have the opportunity to hear the truth. My decision to serve a mission has been really hard for me and I would not be going if I didn't know the church was true. It is a long time to be away from home and family and friends, but it will be worth it even to bring one person to the gospel. The happiness you will find in the church is unlike anything you will find anywhere else and I want others to feel that happiness too. I would encourage anyone who is curious or questioning the LDS church to read the Book of Mormon and pray to know its truth. I promise if you do so, you will have no doubts that what we are taught is from Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I was born and raised in an LDS family. My dad was a convert when he was 18 years old and served as a missionary in England for two years. My mom was born into the church as well. I attend church every Sunday and I am currently serving in the Primary teaching the 5 year olds. I am leaving to serve as a missionary for the church in 15 days. I will be serving in Portugal for a year and a half and I am excited to preach the gospel and share the joy of the gospel with others.
