Hi I'm Bill Wolfford

I was born and raised in Virginia Beach, Virginia. I served in the United States Marine Corps. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I live and work in the Stuart/West Palm Beach, Florida area. I am a Senior Estimator for a national construction company. I have a wife and 2 boys, ages 17 and 19. My wife and I became members in October of 2010 and my sons followed in December, a couple of months later. It was one of the proudest moments of my life when I was able to baptize both of my sons into the Church.

Why I am a Mormon

I became a Mormon after a neighbor moved in and shared the gospel with me and my family. I had grown up in the Baptist church, but knew for most of my adult life that something was missing. I found that something and more in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by living the gospel. My family and my faith come first. It's that simple for us. We attend church, celebrate being together as a family, and pray regularly. Most of our decisions are made by involving the whole family in the decision making process. Through prayer and faith we live according to what we know to be true. My testimony of my Heavenly Father, His Son, and their love for me and my family grows day by day. We also have regular visits with the missionaries. We share a meal and a lesson and this experience always leaves us with testimony and perspective. Sharing with the missionaries is one of the highlights of our week.

What are some things that tell you there is a God?

Bill Wolfford
Everything around me tells me that there is a God. From the planet we live on, to my family, none of this happened by accident. It is the work of a Heavenly Father. It was done with intent and with meaning. Any other explanation just doesn't make sense to me. Show more Show less
