Hi I'm Zach

Football has been a huge part of my life. In High School we won Conference title four years in a row. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the youngest of four older brothers. Growing up with a bigger family definitely has shown me patience. My father was enlisted in the army for 20 years. So we moved quite a bit in my life up until I was 7. Moved to Wisconsin and that's where I spent most of my life. I like to spend most of my free time with my family. Your brothers are here for a reason. Friends come and go, but family is forever. I love to work on miniature models. Basically clean, assemble, paint, and seal. It has been a great hobby just to get away from the world for a few. I plan to earn my degree in Culinary Arts. The reason for Culinary, is because, I remember back on my younger years helping my mother out in the kitchen. She and I would make everything from scratch. Mainly her, but I did my fair share. Her homemade biscuits were to die for. With all the memory's of creating something from scratch for others to receive a slice of joy from the finish product. That just makes me happy. One day I hope I'll be great enough to open my own restaurant. Maybe even my children will keep the new tradition alive for many of years.

Why I am a Mormon

Why I am a Mormon begins all the way back when my parents converted. I was born and raised in the church. And that's not the only reason why I'm a Mormon. I am a Mormon because I have a testimony of this faith. I know with out a doubt that this is the true and only church. I've felt the comfort and love and peaceful conformation of it. Our Savior sacrificed himself because he loved the world so much, and that love he demonstrated, is shown in our homes everyday. With family always being there for you no matter the circumstance. I wan't be with my family for eternity, and through faith and endurance till the end I can be with them. I've seen evil, I've dealt with heart break. I've been in a whole that I thought I would never get out of ever. But then there was light, so beautiful. I started to pray, and pray, and pray. I cleaned up my act, and I attended church again. And eventually I found myself and my plan on earth. Those momentary pleasure's in life always fade, and when they do they leave you behind. Heavenly Father never abandons or leaves you out to dry. He has comfort me and shown me love ever since I could remember. Who would turn a cheek to that?

How I live my faith

I live my faith through being an example for others around me. By attend Church every Sunday. Specially those weeks you feel physically and mentally drained. Sacrament meeting rejuvenates me. I get a sense of peace and welcoming from the spirit and the members around me. That then makes me strive to better myself every week. Since I'm preparing for my mission. I've been striving to read more and more of the scriptures. Best book of all time, and my favorite. Reading helps me keep my mind focused, and relieves me of stress. I always think how cool it would be to meet Nephi. Or to meet the Stripling Soldiers. Strong in faith, and a beacon of light to all. I definitely see the difference between my non member friends and my member friends. And I see such a happier person in the eyes of those I attend church or church functions with. They help making better decisions so much easier. They support your choice. I live my faith to be spiritually happy, physically happy. To be with my family in the next life to come. To be with my older brother, and in all his perfection.
