Hi I'm Soeur Stevens

I am a missionary getting ready to serve in the Lyon, France mission!

About Me

I am a full time missionary preparing to serve in the Lyon, France mission for 18 months. I am a student at Brigham Young University studying Psychology and Art History. I am from the bay area in California. I love playing and watching sports, reading, fashion and spending time with my friends and family. I have four siblings, including a little sister we adopted from Ghana, Africa five years ago. I have lived in London, and I love travelling and seeing the world.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know it is the true church. This gospel has given me more joy and peace than anything else. In our religion, we believe that families can be together forever. When we adopted my little sister from Ghana, it brought me so much happiness to know that we would be sealed together for time and all eternity. I know that Jesus Christ is my Savior and that he loves each of us individually. His tender mercies have blessed me every single day. I love this gospel so much that I chose to serve a full time mission, and I am about to leave for the Lyon, France mission!

How I live my faith

My faith is an important part of my life every single day. One of the greatest benefits of being a member of our church is that the community literally wraps their arms around you. My greatest examples and biggest heroes are members of the church that have taken me under their wing. The people in this church are true disciples of Christ and love and care for one another. I have felt that love in my own life. I have served in different wards by teaching people about the gospel and organizing activities. I love being involved with our church because this gospel is what brings me joy.
