Hi I'm Kristina

I grew up a Mormon. Fell away into addiction. My Savior Jesus Christ saved me by the Beautiful Atonement. I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I am a wife and a mother to 4 wonderful children. I have been divorced, but the lord had someone better in mind. It took a little while, which the lord timed perfectly (I see that now) but now I'm sealed to my eternal companion for all time and eternity. I love to be active in the outdoors. Anything from Rollerblading, Rock climbing, Biking, and Hiking. I love to spend time with my family. Curling up on the couch to read a good book, lay under the sky and watch the clouds or the stars float by, or cleaning the house while I sing along to music makes me happy too.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I believe that there is a Heavenly Father that loves me, that his son Jesus Christ died and atoned for not only my sins, but every single living persons sins. That the Book Of Mormon is the word of God. That Joseph Smith found the golden plates and translated them. I believe that our prophet gets divine revelation from our lord, and that I can personally get that same divine revelation for myself as long as I'm living the commandments. I know 100 percent that I can repent of my sins and that they can be forgiven and washed away, that the lord will remember them no more. That with repentance if done honestly and truly can bring you such a peace to your soul, and free you from any shame or guilt that has held your soul down. An everlasting Joy. A happiness beyond return. I believe that the family unit is eternal. That though the sealing power of our temple we can be a family for all time and eternity. That this is not just some thing special for me and only the members, but can be given to all of man kind, anyone who embraces the gospel and its teaching can have this everlasting peace, this everlasting happiness. This wonderful Joy that comes from knowing who I am, where I came from, and what is truly important in this life. What the pure Joy of having Faith, Hope and Charity can do for one person, for one neighborhood, one country, for one world. Such a wonderful blessing it is to have and to keep striving for. But most importantly I know that my Heavenly Father loves me and blesses me each and everyday, in everything that I do. That the trials I have gone through he has been there, with me, strengthening me. That I have become a better person for them, that I have gain an understanding of things I did not know before. That I am blessed beyond measure. That I can choose to be better and do better And I will always try to do better each and everyday. Amen

How I live my faith

I give service to my church by helping with the cub scout program, I'm in charge of the 10 year boys to teach them about the ways of the world, how to be a good citizen, how to serve in their community, how to build things, how do things work, how to stay physically fit, help them build good health habits, what it means to be honest, loyal, and trustworthy to name a few. I also help plan actives in are area for the women to become united, to serve others, to build friendships, to learn more about spiritually, to try new hobbies, to build up our own self worth, and to fellowship each other. Another thing me and my husband do is facilitate for our local Addiction Recovery & Healing Program weekly. To try and bring hope and joy to those that are struggling with an addiction, having had to overcome them myself. Such an amazing program to help step by step through the process of healing. To know that I am not alone. that others have had to go through the same hard trials, and that each day we are all striving to be better, to do better.
