Hi I'm Amanda

I grew up in Henderson, Nevada. I have an amazing family. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to dance. And I love to sing. I have my associate's degree and plan on getting my bachelor's degree in Early Childhood/Special Education. My favorite type of dance is clogging. I have clogged since I was nine years old. I have performed at Nationals with my Footworks dance studio team. I love kids. Whenever an opportunity arises where I get the chance to work with children, I get excited. I love to socialize and hang with old friends. I also love to make new friends as often as life permits. I love to sit and listen to others when they need someone to talk to. All-in-all, I love life.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know, without a doubt, that the gospel is true. I have had many experiences that have confirmed my testimony over and over again. As I kneel down in prayer, and ask my Heavenly Father my concerns and questions, He answers me. Maybe not right away or necessarily in the way that I want. But He does answer my prayers and has made known unto me the truthfulness of this gospel. Being LDS means everything to me. I honestly don't know how I could have gotten through to this point in my life without it. Especially High School. Being apart of this Church has helped me to stand strong even when I was going through the hardest trials of my life. I am grateful to my parents for raising me in a loving home, and for sharing with me their testimony of this gospel. I hold my religion dear to my heart and love seeing the difference it makes in the lives of those willing to discover the truths it holds.

How I live my faith

I attend church every sunday. My calling in church is a substitute for primary. So I get to teach little kids of different ages quite frequently at church on sunday. I absolutely love learning with them. They have such tender, sweet spirits. I read my scriptures everyday. And I converse, or pray, to my Heavenly Father many times throughout the day. I consistently remind myself that every individual I come into contact with is a son or daughter of God. That way, no matter what, I will remember to always treat them with love and kindness.
