Hi I'm Ashlee

I'm currently serving in the New York Utica Mission! I'm all about the outdoors and simply having fun! I'm a Mormon!

About Me

Currently I am serving the Lord in the Utica, New York mission! I love it here! It is so green, especially compared to the brown that I am used to in Arizona. I love the gospel and hope to share the light that it brings to me! Before this i went to Eastern Arizona College, which is in a small town called Thatcher, Arizona. I grew up in the city all my life and i've just gotta say that the small town is definitely for me!! I fetchin LOVE my family!! My mom, dad, brothers, aunts uncles, cousins, grandma's and grandpas!! They are so amazing to me! I am the oldest in my family of four, and i am the only girl. I love the outdoors. I cannot be cooped up inside for very long at all! Especially when it's a nice sunny day!! Camping, Hunting, Fishing, Boating, Swimming, Hiking...i love it all! I love anything that gives me a bit of an adrenaline rush! Which can create trouble sometimes... Basically, I just love to have a good time!! Life is meant to be enjoyed!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because of the way belonging to and believing in this church has helped me succeed and accomplish what i need to in life. What we believe and have faith in has provided me with more strength, comfort, love, and forgiveness than what is within my ability. How could this church not be true?! I've had many experiences where the spirit quietly witnessed to me of the truthfulness of this church. I would be living a huge lie if i ignored all these feelings and experiences. The church is true. That i know with more certainty than any other aspect in my life. The LDS church is without a doubt TRUE!! :)

How I live my faith

I live my faith through obedience. I listen to what the prophets, apostales, church leaders, and what the scriptures have taught me. Then i obey what they say. I've learned that they know best and in the long run, what they say will bring about the most happiness. I also live my faith with a smile, laughter, a great attitude, and a desire to do what is right. I live my faith through being an example of the believers. I do not hide the fact that I am a Mormon. I am proud to be a Mormon! I want everyone to be able to see the happiness and hope it has brought me so they can realize the same is there waiting for them.
