Hi I'm Leah

I grew up in California as a convert. I am a dancer. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I come from an interesting family. I live with two step parents, have eight siblings, two of which are biologically related to me, two are my half siblings and the rest are my step siblings, but I love them all exactly the same. My family, who at the time there were only five, all converted to the church when I was eight and a half. I went to a Performing Arts middle and high school which got me into dance. Dance is what I do to ponder; it's my escape to think. I am now attending BYU-Idaho to study Childhood Development to become a Speech Therapist. I love kids and cannot wait to work with them, since I have in the past.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I was visited by the amazing two missionaries that happened to stop by my home one day. I was given the opportunity to be baptized with my family when I was eight and a half. Growing up without a religion, I first told the missionaries that their prayers they said at my house were a waste of time and I asked when I was going to get brainwashed. I had no idea how significant prayers and my baptism was going to become in my life. I am now so grateful I was baptized. I am also so thankful for prayers and being able to talk with my Heavenly Father daily. I am a Mormon because I love knowing that there is a God. I love knowing that there is a life after this. Because of this, I am a Mormon and I love the church.

How I live my faith

I love participating in church events. I love going to activities and being with those people who love me. I love telling people about the Mormon church and how loving the people are. I love doing things for people in need, whether that be a service project or just out of pure love. I love letting people know the way I act and the things I do to help others is because it's what I've been taught as a Mormon.
