Hi I'm Emily

I grew up in the greater Seattle area. I went to a Catholic High School. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in the Seattle area, and have always been an avid horseback rider. I primarily ride english focusing on dressage and show jumping. I also ride western, but my true love is the english saddle. I am currently a college student majoring in Animal Science. I plan on going into Animal Health Sales, meaning I will sell products to Veterinarians. I love my family and spending time with them. I also DJ for country dances I attended a Catholic high school while being the only Mormon there. I really enjoyed being the only Mormon there because I was able to be the person that my peers went to if they had questions. I loved that.

Why I am a Mormon

Many people think that I am a Mormon only because I grew up in the church, but contrary to that belief I am a Mormon because I choose to be one. I have gone through my life with many challenges and have only come through that because of my faith. Being Mormon has been the biggest blessing in my life, nothing can compare to it.

How I live my faith

While attending college currently I am given many opportunities to help people. I am a very compassionate person and will go out of my way to help others in need. I feel like I can let people know how wonderful the Mormon church is just by following the commandments and letting my actions speak for themselves. I do volunteer work outside of the church and have volunteered at a Therapeutic Riding Center, helping special needs children ride horses. I get such a rush from helping others, I love it! While in high school I was able to be a true missionary because I was able to show my faith through my actions and let my peers see that Mormons are just like everybody else.
