Hi I'm Alayna

I'm from Colorado. I have worked as a preschool teacher and now I am a stay-at-home mom. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have a lot of different hobbies. I like singing, soccer, hiking, and everything inbetween. I lived in Korea for 18 months and love to eat Korean food. Shortly after moving back to the states I got married. I worked as a preschool teacher for a year before having my own child, and now I am a stay-at-home mom and it is the best job in the world.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents raised me as a member of the church but when I was 14, I wanted to know for myself if it was true. I didn't receive an answer right away but after talking to my mom, she shared a scripture with me that had a really big impact. It said that "you receive no witness until after the trial of your faith." I decided then that I would continue to follow Christ and show forth my faith. Through the years, I have felt God's spirit and gained a deep testimony of the gospel. I know it is true because as I follow God and keep his commandments, I am happier than I have ever been.

How I live my faith

I serve as a teacher over the 10 and 11 year old girls at our church. Every Sunday I teach them from the scriptures and help them develop their faith. We also have an activity every first and third Wednesday of the month where we play games, make crafts, and help the girls learn how to serve others and make good decisions.
