Hi I'm Keith Anderson

I am a simple man just trying to make life as good I can for my family and others. I am a Mormon

About Me

I am a very happy Grandpa who likes nothing better to roll around the floor or play football with his grandchildren, there is nothing greater than to have my grandchildren sit on my knee. After many years working for one employer left and have discovered many other things to do some which I have enjoyed others not so much. I enjoy watching the football and on occasion have a game of golf.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a convert to the church. I met someone who was already a member who invited me along to a meeting and really have never left since. I was so impressed by the sincerity of the people there a genuine hand of friendship was offered at all times and still is. I was taught by two elders for a number of months but my conversion came from the support of a family that lived what they believed. I liked that and wanted it for myself. I would visit with them and listen to what they said and then listen to what he elders taught and it all seemed to make sense to me. I still remember quite vividly the evening when I received a testimony of the things they had spoken to me about. I remember kneeling in prayer and asking The Lord if the prophet Joseph was indeed his servant and without doubt feeling a warmth within me testifying of the role he had in the restoration of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Thankfully to this day I have been able to remember the feeling I had that night as I knelt in prayer and it has been a strength to me as I have went throughout my life it the hard as well as the easier times. I am greatful with a life that has meaning and purpose and that gives me great hope.

How I live my faith

I have been lucky enough to be involved in the church for many years helping others get the best out of their lives by participating in good honest and enjoyable activities. I have worked within the young people's programmes and have watched young people be happy to be involved in helping not only themselves but others and then to watch these young people mature and give back to others. I have had the opportunity to help organise many different events from small to large church services. To help organise visits for youth to go do service work. To help put on family friendly activities involving all types of entertainment.
