Hi I'm Lacey

I am a college student. I am a lover of life. I am a mormon.

About Me

I am currently attending college and have spent the last 3 years working as an ASL interpreter for special needs youth. I want to eventually graduate college to become a personal trainer. I love being outside where I can enjoy the beautiful world we live in and as a result I love biking, running, and swimming. My family competes in triathlon and half-marathon races together. It has become a large part of our family life and I love doing things with them. I have started my own website where I can sell things I make and it is the perfect creative outlet for me.

Why I am a Mormon

I am mormon because without this religion I would not be my best self. The joy it brings me helps me understand who I truly am. I am able to create a relationship with my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, with the knowledge this church brings me. It makes me happy, confident, and at peace with life.

How I live my faith

I live my faith through love. Sharing my love by serving others is one of the best ways I can think of to express my faith. I have tried to live this principle by visiting the sick, volunteering to help troubled youth, and by working with special needs children in my church programs. I find joy when I forget myself and focus on others and their needs. I try to follow Christ's example and love all those around me, because this is what makes me happy and what builds me up. I become better when I love others. When I serve others with a heart full of love I feel my Saviors love for me.

What do Mormons believe is the purpose of life?

Lacey
The purpose of life is to be happy! Our Heavenly Father has created a plan for us to achieve it. Coming here, we are able to receive a physical body, exercise agency and learn to choose between good and evil, learn and gain experiences that will help us become more like our Heavenly Father, and to form family relationships that may become eternal. By following our Fathers plan, we can have peace and joy in life. Show more Show less
