Hi I'm Torin

I'm a Mormon

About Me

I am currently serving a Mission for the church of Jesus Christ of Latterday Saints, I am a painter and worked in the Oil industry as a pipe insulator before I decided to serve a full time mission. I enjoy video games, music, weight lifting, and most importantly watching hockey in my spare time. When I return from my mission I will try to go to school.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because the church brings more peace, knowledge, hope, love, security, and wellness into my life than anything else. No amount of money or thing of this earth can replace the feelings of truth and comfort I feel as I fulfill and follow the commandments and teachings of God and his church. Jesus is the Christ and this is his church, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day saints. I am so very grateful that my ancestors found this church for me, as I have been born into it. It is a blessing for me that I can help others find what I already have. I can see people every day, my friends included, seeking light, knowledge, and truth from things of this world. Only the comforter of the Holy Ghost, the spirit of truth can fill those voids. If you are reading this and are seeking truth, hope, or comfort in your life, this church is for you. Christs church. He loves you and wants you to return to Him. His work and atonement has made it possible to erase your burdens and stresses of past mistakes and failures. Being a Mormon does not mean we are perfect, it means we are striving to be better and better to reach our full potential. It means if we trip and fall, to get back up and keep walking along the straight and narrow path to heaven and happiness. If we cannot get up on our own, the Saviors hand will allows be ours to help us back to our feet. I know this church is true as the Savior has helped me back up and on my way many times.

How I live my faith

I go to church every sunday and enjoy being together with my friends and fellow members. Living my faith is not to difficult for me because my whole family are members. When I am around my non member friends and co workers they are respectful of my beliefs as I am respectful of theirs. I simply live my faith, you have to as a member of this church. Being a Mormon is a lifestyle, and a good one too
