Hi I'm Liz Johnson

I'm a friend, a color connoisseur, and a Mormon.

About Me

Two truths and a lie. I've never lost a thumb-war, I've won 13 first-place awards in photography, and my father is from London. Well, I hope you had time to guess because the lie is the first one! I have little fingers and always loose to thumb wars:) My name is Liz and I have an art heart. I love to explore, wonder, and marvel at this beautiful world that we have been given. There is nothing greater in life then the joy of: art, color, photography, family, and this gospel. And yes, my father is from London! We frequently yell, "The British are coming!", wait in que's, and eat with a knife and fork. My family is my joy and we are bonded together with all the love one could imagine.

Why I am a Mormon

When I think about why I am a Mormon it is rooted in the feelings, knowledge, and truth that I have come to know for myself through the Holy Ghost. Nothing on this earth could replace the peace I find in His church; there is security, stability, and strength in this gospel. I believe in a loving Heavenly Father. I believe in the Atonement, that Christ suffered for all. I believe that there is purpose to this life, and I find that purpose through this gospel. I know this church is true.

How I live my faith

After much consideration I decided to serve the Lord by submitting my papers to become a sister missionary. This continues to be such a spiritual experience for me as I prepare to serve. I was called to the Marshall Islands, Majuro mission speaking Kiribati. Working with Heavenly Father, I have been inspired to reach new heights spiritually as challenges have come my way. Over the past six months I have realized that all growth comes through such trials and Heavenly Father works with me to strength my testimony of this gospel. I am so grateful that I can live as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints everyday through trying to be like Jesus.
