Hi I'm Austin Snowden

I'm a fan of many musicians, but a fan of one football team (GO BRONCOS), I believe the best time is family time, and I'm a mormon

About Me

I've always found mornings very relaxing because I get to wake up to silence, exercise, hop in a hot shower, eat and study. Although I'm not fit yet, I'd like to be. Although I'm not smart yet, I'd like to be. I'm not a good musician yet, but I'd like be. To me, life's about getting better and better each day. I'm studying Business so I can help my Dad with his electrical construction company and at the moment I'm working there too. I love the construction site because each job we show up at, there's a new set of friends. A group of people all working towards the same purpose, and for the most part fun and humble people are there. I love basketball, football, baseball, soccer, snowboarding, long boarding, boating, camping, and jamming out. I hope someday to have a family of my own and to be able to do for them at least a fraction of what my family has done for me.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born a mormon, and I'm still here because I have been able to test the principles taught in this church and I've seen that they work. There were times in my life that I wasn't sure if God was there, but the promises I've found in the Bible and the Book of Mormon have always proven trustworthy. I haven't seen God, but I have felt his influence and benefitted from his teachings

How I live my faith

My faith has taught me that the small and simple things are important. I try to look out for little things I can change in my life to make the world a better place. Whether it's just smiling more, or having a chat with someone I run into. I go to church on Sunday, I'll give talks after the sacrament service every once in a while like any other member of the church could be asked to do. I served a two year full time mission in Scotland and Ireland to teach people about Jesus Christ and to serve the people there in whatever other ways they would accept. I'll continue to share the things I believe even though I can't be a missionary full-time anymore because I'm convinced God has shown us the way to better our lives. I try to better my own life each and every day by applying the things I learn from the scriptures and the thoughts that come as I pray to God.
