Hi I'm Kieanney

I'm a fashion major, I love the ocean, I love laughing and I'm a Mormon!

About Me

Aloha! I'm Kieanney, and I'm currently on a full time mission in the city of Naga, Philippines. Some of my favorite things to do are paddle, cruise with my friends, surf, and dance. I love being out in the sun, making other people laugh, and trying new things. I'm a fashion major, bookworm, and very bad at math. I'm of Samoan/Hawaiian/Chinese heritage and I love learning about my cultures. I'm beyond thankful for my family, my friends, the gospel, and the beautiful life that I have been blessed with.

Why I am a Mormon

Growing up, I always just assumed the Church was true. My siblings and my mother believed it was true. My dad was baptized when I was 9 years old. I never questioned it until I experienced major trials in high school. Through these difficulties, I learned for myself the truthfulness of the gospel doctrines and principles. The Book of Mormon is true. I believe in the healing and enabling powers of Christ's Atonement. I love my Savior, and I know that He lives. I know that my Heavenly Father is real. I'm a Mormon because I have felt the truthfulness of these things.

How I live my faith

When talking with one of my co-workers, she mentioned how our religion doesn't define who we are. I felt the Spirit testify to me in that moment that my faith IS my life. My world revolves around Jesus Christ. I strive to base my decisions on what will help me to become as He is. I try to do things that will lead me back to my Father in Heaven.
