Hi I'm Marshall

Born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah. Serving a mission in Bogotá, Colombia. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I spent the last year attending college. I love golf and soccer, as well as activities that involve water. Currently I am doing what I can to prepare to serve my mission to Colombia by praying, reading the scriptures, and studying the missionary lessons in Preach My Gospel. I am also spending as much time as I can with my family and friends. I look forward to heading out and serving.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because it is impossible for me to ignore all the good that has come into my life as a result of my association with the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. When I find myself questioning or doubting my belief in this Gospel, it brings me comfort to ask myself, just as Alma rhetorically asked his son Helaman, "Is there not a type in this thing?" I believe that there is a type in this thing, that is to say: I believe there is something special about this church and its teachings, something that I want to continually have in my life.

How I live my faith

I attend church regularly, as well as making an effort to try and live as Christ did. I understand better than anybody how far away I am from truly living the way Christ did, but I feel that as long as I am trying and progressing, then I must be on the right path.
