Hi I'm Alison

I'm a Wife, a Mom, a Barre Instructor and a Daughter of God. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm married to my love and get to spend my days taking care of my sweet daughter. I enjoy cooking, running, being a barre instructor, and speaking Spanish. I try to find ways to serve others each day and do my best to make family my number one priority.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know the Gospel is true! I am so grateful the Gospel of Jesus Christ was restored through the prophet Joseph Smith, and am proud to be a part of it. I love the Book of Mormon and know it is the word of God. Every time I read it, I feel peace and direction from my Heavenly Father. As I have prayed to know if it is the word of God, the Holy Ghost has touched my heart, telling me it is! Together with the Bible, these two books of scripture draw me closer to Jesus Christ. As I served a mission in Peru, I saw how the word of God and the Gospel changes lives and can bring families together forever. The gospel of Jesus Christ brings me so much happiness, knowing I can be with my family even after this life! I know I have a loving Heavenly Father who has a plan for me, helps guide my life, and loves me so much that he sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to earth to perform the Atonement so I can return to live with Him one day. I am so blessed and want everyone to receive the same blessings I have!

How I live my faith

Each day I read my scriptures, pray, and look for simple ways to serve others. I strive to follow the example of Jesus Christ and to say and do what He would. While I'm not perfect, I have hope and faith that I can improve and be a light to others. That is how I show my faith.

How can we increase our faith in Jesus Christ?

We increase our faith in Jesus Christ through actions. As we choose to keep the commandments and to act on the things we feel are right, we will increase our faith. When I have gone through trials, I have seen my faith in Jesus Christ grow as I have relyed on him for help through prayer, scripture study, and attending church. We are able to develope greater faith in Jesus Christ when we make the choice to turn to him when most people would turn away. Show more Show less
